Margaret’s ‘Sheiling’ (a different term for a bothy) is accommodation used by the owners of Lingay when working on the Island.  However, when not in use,  it is potentially available for other people to use.

Being set in an absolutely stunning location on the North Western edge of Lingay Island, the Sheiling has amazing panoramic views of this very remote part of the Sound of Harris.  See Margaret’s Sheiling for further details.

This is a unique and beautiful island.  Where else other than an island would you be able to have the opportunity to be totally alone?

Fish are plentiful and there are also fantastic wildlife watching and photographic opportunities!
